What is LocoLocal?

Each day, LocoLocal will feature a crazy-good deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in your city. Consumers can purchase coupons at a great discount, which they can then use with local retailers before the coupons expire.

What kind of businesses will offer LocoLocal coupons?

All kinds! We will be working with all the retailers in your city to come up with enticing offers. But from experience, we know that restaurants love to bring customers in the doors with our type of coupons. Fitness centers and spas are big participants. And then there are car washes, shows, massages, barber shops, and even lessons of all kinds!

What if I want to think about it before buying the coupon?

You have only until midnight EST to buy your LocoLocal coupon. And in some cases, retailers will limit the number of coupons available, so you better decide quickly!

I hear there's a "minimum" number of coupons for each deal?

In order to offer such great discounts, retailers need to know they're going to see a lot of customers. So LocoLocal works with retailers to establish a minimum number of coupons to be purchased — a number that's not too high so it can't be reached, but that's high enough to be appealing to the retailer.

What happens if the minimum isn't reached?

Everybody cries in their soup (ed: In their soup? Really? This is the best you could come up with?)! If the minimum isn't reached, the deal is off. No credit card is charged.

So do I need to be part of a group of people to buy a LocoLocal coupon?

No, we reach enough of your city's residents through our email list so that reaching the minimum should be easy each day. But, many of LocoLocal's deals are much more fun if you go with a group, so feel free to tell your friends/family/colleagues about them!

If I like a deal, how do I get it?

Just click "BUY" before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people sign up, we'll charge your card and send you a link to print your LocoLocal coupon.

Do I need to use my LocoLocal coupon the same day I buy it?

No, and in fact the business offering the coupon might get swamped if everyone did! Each LocoLocal coupon has an expiration date — often it's 6 months or more — and you need to use your coupon before that date.

Once I've bought a LocoLocal coupon, how do I use it?

Once you're charged, you'll receive an email with a link to sign in and print your LocoLocal coupon. The LocoLocal coupon has instructions on it.

Can I buy a LocoLocal coupon as a gift for someone else?

You can by purchasing more than one coupon, and then giving the coupon to someone else. (Note that some merchants don't allow this. When this happens, you won't be able to increase your order quantity.)
